Paul those images of the 70-200 are great. How do you like the lens? Can you tell me anything about its´characteristics? Is it sharp at 70mm in the corners wide open? How is it at 200mm? How is vignetting and distortion? I guess i doesn´t have ultrasonic AF?
There is a green layer above the city, this makes it really colorful. Is that moire or jpeg compression in the tree? Moire would speak in favor of the 50N.

Paul, thanks for your kind words!
What did you appeal to you in the N Digital?
Contax N Digital is very unique in its rendering of a scene...
Some actually say that the mistake in making of its sensor has created this unique look.
I've always envied the look it gave.... and now I finally own one....
Nice shot mugenpowr! Look forward to seeing a similar shot with the N 85.
I have both N 50 and 85 too and have been wanting to use them with my profoto lights on a shot like this but haven't had time yet.

What some actually say is nonsense. What have they identified as the "mistake in making of its sensor"? As far as I know, it wasn't as much a mistake as it was the state of technology at the time. The same basic sensor was used in MFDB's at the time. (People could take issue with the processing of the signal coming from the sensor, but that is a different issue). The look, which I agree is unique and seductive, is more a result of Zeiss' fastidiousness with color and strive to get it right and achieve their vision.
