A local body shop owner went to SA for a wedding last winter. Came back with some chocolate. It was like eating butter. Now, all the American stuff tastes lousy. Love the first shot in part 5. Beautiful country.
Wonderful series, but my favorites were the nuns and the lady with the dog and llama on the street. Very difficult to capture such images on the street, good job.
I'm very interested in hearing about your PP techniques. They look wonderful and I'm curious how you achieved this look. If you'd rather pm me some of this info i understand.
My favourites as well .... nuns ( was that a sneaky low-hip shot ?) , lama-lady, interior of churches ( part 8 especially) ....
Seems you are leaning towards HDR "look", especially regarding churches and skies.
I might like it even more if you'd process all in Black and White and split it up in a black n white serie versus a de-saturated one.
dadagallery - Thank you. Yeah it was one of those moments you look up and kinda see something so you hit the shutter.
photosenior - as for the PP techniques, I did minimal exposure equalization (HDR) then sharpened it w/ a mask & a light high pass filter. Then I brought out the contrast by applying a fill layer to dark areas using dark brown. Thanks!
Velu01 - With the churches and skies, the exposure was too hard to control so I had to rely on the using the HDR technique to bring out over & under exposed areas. Creating a B&W series is a great idea! Thanks!
