I ordered my 5D2 and grip from Newegg to be delivered today. I had it supposedly delivered next day air and paid extra. The package is supposed to deliver to the Bronx, guess where its at? PHILADELPHIA!!!!!!!
It's so annoying. I wanted to try the center focus so bad! Anyway talking to the UPS agent is like talking to a brick wall. Well talking to a brick wall would not be as annoying. If I didn't "track" the package they would not have known.
Three days before X'mas and right after a major blizzard...I personally wouldn't call that 'fail'. Yes, it's unfortunate for you and can understand that you're upset but at the same time, you have to be a little more realistic as to the timing & circumstances. Unfortunate/Yes; Unlucky/Maybe; Major Fail/Probably Not (under the circumstances)
BTW, there's always the chance that the system status is wrong (due to the heavy volume & weather delays) and the package will still get delivered today! So, let's still have a little hope.

Omar
Actually, it won't get delivered today Omar. I already called them. They won't try, and they won't even send the message to try. They told me it would be delivered tomorrow. When no one is home. It's ok. I'll just wait for next year, maybe it will arrive then.
So the status says Out for Delivery in Philly? Or does it just say it's at the facility in Philly?
Reason I'm asking is that I've had a couple of packages from UPS in the last 2 weeks that have been delivered on-time despite errors in the tracking pages that had me thinking there might be a problem. Don't believe what the phone reps tell you, they are probably temps and are likely looking at the same information you are seeing on the website (as a registered user).

While I am anxiously awaiting my order, it is not "urgent". Again, READ my post. The problem isn't even a volume delay problem. It is in another state. It's a system/human/routing error. If they said they can't deliver because of volume, its fine. I understand. I was expecting it to be possibly delayed.
But, it's not even in NY where it is supposed to be delivered, or NJ where it originated. It's in PA.

Are you sure it originated in NJ? Sometimes companies have gear held at staging warehouses in a difference city from where the information is placed in the UPS system. When I order from Amazon I often see orders with an origin 20 miles from where I am on the tracking system. In reality the data for the order was placed via a system defined to be at that location, but the actual goods come from a warehouse 150 miles away and USP order system never shows that fact.
