That's a park about 10min. from my house called Shiratori Teien (_白鳥庭園_). Most of the images in this 4-part series are taken from there. Me the GF spent a few hours there. She's new to photography and I thought while teaching the basics (aperture, shutter, ISO, etc.) we could take some pretty shots at the same time.
Thanks. That's actually pretty much, just how it looked too. The lighting was a soft-bright, very low in the sky, and very diffuse. Everything was glowing yet with dancing highlights where the Sun was shadowlessly direct. The eye, with it's dynamic iris probably saw something between #3 and #6. I don't remember perfectly but I think the middle exposure would have been something like 1/10th @ f2.4 or very close to that (had I set the aperture to 2.4 and not f/11). You can kinda see the lighting I was dealing with (40min. earlier) in image #2. It was a nice day for walking and for exposure brackets of long exposures too - not even a breath of wind.
