Great shots. I used to have a CY 35/1.4 which amazes at close distance but sucks at infinity. I was not sure and am still not sure if it was due to the adapter ring which did not reach infinity and still hit the mirror box. Do you have any (big-size prefered) infinity landscape shots from this Rollei Distagon? Thanks.

WYAN, I found that on a low quality adapter (I have a couple), it does not reach infinity until f11. On a slimmer adapter (I have one), it is tack sharp at infinity, but hangs sometimes (often) on my 5D. I found its sweet spot at infinity was f2.8 and it was absolutely incredible. At all other apertures, infinity was no better than my zuiko 35-80mm f2.8 at 35mm at the same aperture. This wasn't a scientific test, to say the least, I just shot the city out my window at work on a very sunny day.

That would be nice, I didn't really think about it when I hijacked your thread with my pictures of my son (When you have a young kid it is hard to find time to search out diverse subjects). Sorry about that.
It is interesting how little resources there on the web concerning the Rollei and Contax 35/1.4 compared to other Zeiss lenses. This thread has been a small, but nice addition to what is out there.
