very nice..i wonde how it's hard to focus to infinity at wide apertures...i had the same problem with contax. Ifyou hear the beep of confirmation on a distant object, then corrisponde or is out of focus? Put some pictures of objects at close range ... do some crops at f1.4 ... you lucky enough to have the zeiss can only help us to understand whether or not to take it! thanks

Nice pics. So what is your way of focusing? I see that you like me use the 5D2, do you use the viewfinder with EG-S, rely on AF-confirm or what?
Thanks

(lurking around - thinking about the 35/2 or 35/1.4)
The 35/2 is the easier choice. Not as tempermental, heavy or expensive.
Just the Eg-S focussing screen and focus confirmation blink to get focus close enough. Usually, I end up adjusting a little. And LiveView when light's fading.

Thanks Photoe!
Great combination of detail and smooth bokeh in the dandelion shot. Very nice.
The new version of the 35/1.4 will be certainly a favorite for shots of flowers and brides at weddings.
