I slightly bent the aperture pin. Then, removed mount to attach a new adapter that required removing the mount. The screw holes were misaligned and in the process pushed the pin way down. Now, the aperture won't stop down at all. And, started unscrewing rear element with my fingers, couldn't get out very far, till it wouldn't budge, tried to re-screw it with my fingers. Now the rear element is a little misaligned, so lens is a little soft.
Yes, I am technically inclined, but I have no lens tools, and little lens disassembly experience, and I love my Rollei too much to become a Frankenstein test subject.
I know, it was fine, I shouldn't have messed with it, but I wasn't satisfied with how slightly loose it was. But, in hindsight, my pictures were fine from it...I have been kicking myself since...
Sorry to hear it. I have been kicking myself about marking the rear element of mine. It was near mint when I bought it but my 5d2 mirror has been chipping away at it. Good luck getting yours sorted
