Great deal. The buyer might wish to know that Canon Services will likely take this unit in for free, including free shipping to their site, under either of two current recalls: one for AF adjustment and one of excess lubrication in the mirror area. It's a good way to get a free checkup and cleaning if nothing else. On mine they found excess lubrication and ended up replacing a few parts.

Thanks Kevin, I am glad you mentioned that, as I have a $100 repair voucher good until next May 1, 2010 on the camera. Upon reviewing the document, it does not seem to be specific to ME, but to the serial number of the camera, so I shall include it in the box to the buyer. It also seems to be good for a 3 day turn around and 20% off parts and service as well. I have a similar certificate for my 5D MkII and both came to me for registering the cameras with Canon.

I inspected this camera a few months ago for the excess lubrication and could not find any evidence of it, so I did not send it in for repair or service. It has been flawless in it's operation. Thanks for the comment, it was a good heads up to include this.
