these were taken april 2009 when I went back for holiday.
gear used: 450d + 70-300 IS USM
couldnt get access to be nearer to the action. so have to stand at the side of the track.
I think you captured the action very well... nice sharp panning shots. IMO these shots could use some processing tweaks to make them pop a bit more (curves and levels). Well done though.

ehmm probably my next PP will touch those.
right now just working out with contrast shadow exposure etc.
there were competition in senior category... so probably they dont mind the goggles
