Very nice Craig - a well balanced exposure that lets everything in the scene jump out at the viewer without jumping over the edge with blown out lighting.
Thanks for the nice comments. The location is way off the beaten path from any normal SE Utah landmarks. It was a ranch road that I followed and followed for a long time. Then all the sage was gone and it was sand. Sometimes I wish I could post really large as I think things look better big! But then it wouldn't fit many monitors.
Your right, these would look great printed large! The first is a fine shot, with killer detail. I'd crop a bit off the top of the second...

I only see one. Did I miss something? What I do see, I like. This image has a wonderful contrast of elements included. The sand against the jagged edge, and nicely colored sky is lovely. The sagebrush adds even more interest. Well done.
