Not sure why but this location really caught my eye coming home this afternoon. The few still standing fall leaves and color contrasting with the Evergreen mountain made me look. Really surprised with the days on end of 40-50mph winds that any leaves at all were still on the trees. Anyways this location is on Mill Pond Road facing MT. Si in Washington State. This consist of a 6 image Vertical Pano.
Thanks for taking the time to look
A welcome glimpse of the last of the autumnal gold , Ray . The light is fleeting , but those glimpses on the yellow leaves and the rippling river make this picture well worth the effort .
Lovely scene, Ray. Well seen....the fall colors do contrast beautifully with the bg mtns. And Sharon's right about the reflecting stream.....gorgeous!
If anything, I might try to reduce the intesity of the blue in the far right bg mtn.
I'm glad you stopped.
Finally back in the good ol' USA. Woke up at 3:30am this morning. Gotta get back on schedule.
I really like this image. Has a very warm and peaceful feel to it. Love the smattering of the gold on the left of this, mixed with the more predominant colors in the center. The reflection of the light in the water is quite lovely, and your processing gives this a nice painterly sense.
