p.1 #1 · A great offer from Nikon - but bad timing
I got an offer from Nikon that if I buy a D300s between now and mid Jan they will give a free SB900. According to the email the offer is only for existing registered Nikon users, according to the terms and conditions of the offer "This offer is subject to continuous ownership of the product(s) purchased. Nikon UK reserve the right to recall/cancel delivery of the offer if the product is returned/resold." So can't use it for any financial gain. I already have SB900 which I paid £400 for and a D700 but if I didn't I would have definitely gone for this offer. Why is it that all the great offers are available when I am not buying stuff.
p.1 #2 · A great offer from Nikon - but bad timing
So if you buy a D300s then they give you a SB900 when? I assume some time after you buy it, otherwise how do they cancel delivery? How do they even know you sold it? And what does recall mean? If you sell the D300s they ask for the SB900 back? That'll work...
p.1 #3 · A great offer from Nikon - but bad timing
You send the proof of purchase along with the voucher they sent and then they send you SB900. Not sure how they know if I resell it unless the person I sell it to goes online to register.
p.1 #4 · A great offer from Nikon - but bad timing
Even then, if you bought it, got your SB900 and then sold the camera I don't see on what basis they can ask for the SB900 back. You got the item and that's it. Once you pay and get the goods, even if they are free, they cannot ask you to give it back.
Anyway, I'm not buying a D300s so I'm not really bothered!
