I don't know if they really improved it from the DP1s speed or not, but when I had the DP1 it was, slow. slow. slow. I wish it had a better manual focus control or something that would have made it a lot easier.

I returned mine just before the first firmware update, so I'd like to know too.
One thing that doesn't bode well for the camera is that the update said it would "reduce the occurrence of crashes". I'm sorry but it's pretty unacceptable for a camera to crash at all.

The Dp's have the best manual focus control as compared to any similar camera such as the M4/3rd variants or even the Leica X1. It's not a Leica M or an SLR with older manual focus lenses but outside of those, what digital option in this size category do you think is better? Things get easier the longer you use them and get accustomed to how they work. How long and often did you use your DP-1?
