Howdy folks - been a long while since I've posted here. Getting settled into a new life in Austin, TX. Decided it was time to give the cactus a break and round up some models. This gal had such a cool profile I had to get together with her. She's as good as they come people-wise. Charming, witty, intelligent and doesn't take herself seriously - but *does* take the modeling seriously. This is one of the first I've done rough editing - wanted to get feedback. This was late afternoon, warm sunshine by a creek. I used a warm PhotoFlex LitePanel for fill - it showed me how good a sail it was on occasion. I really need to rethink the mounting of that thing so it can be tilted and remain stable.
Canon 5DMkII, ISO 400 1/180 f9.5 using the 70-200 f2.8 IS handheld.
C&C always appreciated. I'll post more in this thread as I get to them.

Beautiful image. My two nits are the dapple on her nose and the blown highlight on her shoulder.
Thanks - yep that dapple sorta bugs me too. The shoulder is not blown however - maybe looks that way in JPG conversion.
Adding another shot of Tiffanie - tried my best to work with strong sidelighting and multiple shadows from trees. Strategy was to get in shadows and use light panel to throw light in.

- you say the nicest things Greg
Nah - she was actually in a tenuous position up a tree - I think those muscles were being put to real use. I neglected to mention that she is in training (!) for some big swimwear competition. She's pretty tone.
Thanks for the C&C - the FM crowd is being a tough gig as usual. Sometimes you gotta ask yourself what it takes to get a C&C.
You have a gorgeous model in a bad lighting scenario. Direct sunlight is harsh for sure. Uneven lighting and shadows are evident. The second one is your best attempt to get a nice shot in adverse conditions. You tried to put her in some shade and did pretty well. Still there are hot spots, uneven lighting and you cannot get her eyes in the best light, though I don't think the best light was an option here.
Considering your location and conditions you got some nice shots of a pretty gal. My only recommendation is to find better light, young jedi. ;-)
Edit: That last shot is much better. I think you added it while I was typing. Show us that spot with her looking at the camera. <whistle>
