Wow what a treat looking at these with my spankin new 27in iMac!! They look super. You done well for a beggar of lens!!
The BB is very sweet and the Mallard Group shot is super.
Great Sparrow shot! You have an ID on that particular specie?? Similar to a Lark Sparrow that we see in Eastern Oregon although not around the Portland area.
good to see you back at shooting and not simply criticizing my posts mercilessly!

Thanks Mike! Wow, maybe I should post my shots larger for you now Good to hear they looked good to you buddy On your next post you will get a 'Atta boy' and like it
Karl I believe the sparrow to be the American Tree Sparrow?
Hi Karl, looks like you had a great day! I love the bokeh backgrounds and beautiful colors! I think both of those lenses do well with that! The sparrow is premo light! Love the Starling too.

Thanks kindly Linda. Glad there were elements of interest and appreciation here for you. It is nice to know that you liked the sparrow image and the Starling

Nice shootin' there Karl. For the flight shots, you just need to practice is all.
I surely wish I had the opportunities to practice more Jody, seems like I get a lesson and then it is weeks or more before another. I am on a slow pace but moving forward..............I think Thanks for stopping by.

Fine series Karl and a nice capture of the blue bird. I actually have two rose bushes with some rather sad looking red roses still hanging on.
Lou
Funny you say that Lou, my rose bush is hanging on too and had a few recent new blooms, it is confused Either that or jealous that I was out shooting feathers again
Glad you liked the bluebird, they are a great subject in the right light!
Wow! Look at these, Karl1
what a very nice series.
Ilike them all--byut the blue bird is just wonderful--especially #2. I would love to sdee that one cropped in a little tighter. Love the pose on that one.
My other favorite is the starling! Nasty birds but you made it look beautiful!
This is a wonderful set,Karl. I agree that Duckies are fast flyers and you got some good shots. #1,6 and 9 are my top pics but all images are excellent.
