Hey guys and gals, I know we are all busy catching up on editing right now and I am too. But if you could take a few minutes to look at my new website and let me know the goods and the bads about it that would be great! I finally got my butt out of the bludomain hell. Although once I was finally set up with them I didn't really have any complaints but what a pain in the a**.
Anyways, I went with CMD and I am so far so happy. Great CS and not any more cost than BLU. Just a forewarning....yes there is music *cringe* but it is what it is and I know us photographers hate that but the truth is that clients love it...accept it
Still working on my prophoto blog but that will come in time once I catch up on all of my editing. Anyways, give me your thoughts on the layout, photos (too many? not enough? Quality?) and whatever you great minds have to offer. Thanks bunches....
Looks very nice. Here are a couple of comments that I had while looking at it... In the About Me you have words off to the left of the image. I almost wish that there were more words on the Wedding page and on the Family page (with the slide show happening in the middle). The Vendors page... is black? Is there content on that page? What do you plan on putting there? On the contact page I would have to scroll down to hit (FIND!) the submit button. I'd like that to scrunch up to display on one screen (768 being a fine common denominator these days). There's a bit of dead space above "name" that could be recovered. You could also put the address on the left and the phone/email info on the right. I would change "Home Page" to Home and "Contact Page" to Contact. That's fairly standard. Having the word page there makes you look... new at this.
Phyl: you are a little bit confusing but I think I understand. However, I am somewhat limited in what I can and can't change. I didn't design in myself, it is template based, so I can't move things around as easy.
