I am back into it again. It's been about 5 years since I have posted here, too long of a story. A few weeks ago I lost my 20D over a water fall, Glen Ellis in NH Well it has been replaced with a 50D. WOW, have things changed and have I got a lot to learn about this camera. My first outing with it was climbing one of NH's 4000 footers, Cannon Mt. I took the first image of my favorite hike, Lincoln and Lafayette. The walk along the ridge is one of the most beautiful in the white's. The second is just a random shot of some Mountain Ash berries that fell onto a clump of moss. Please let me know what you think of the images. Are they over processed?

I have a 30d and a 7d and there is so much difference. Every 2 years its like a revolution ocurred.
1 - the exposure washes out a bit of the sky on top right. If you shot in raw I would reprocess or reprocess and blend with the rest. The composition for me is a bit too vertically centred and would be better with less sky and more ground.
2 has the berries too centred for me. I think zoomed in for the berries and green interesting bush to be more prominent would improve the composition.
Thank you Scott. I do need to work on my composition more. I didn't shoot RAW this time but Sunday I plan another 4000 footer and will shoot Raw then and work on my composition.
