How cool is that. We live in the Northeast and have subtropical permanent residents! Send some over to NJ...someone actually offered me a peacock today...how would I keep it in my yard?

Another nice set Morris,

have you tried B&W points to help you with the haze?

Sometimes those really help.

Lil

Thank you Lil,

I used curves to do the same.

Better than expected for shooting through a window Morris (typically that's a recipe for disappointment).

Have you looked into the cost of replacement windows? If it's not duo-pane I might just consider knocking one out for the sake of less post-processing.

Thank you Johnny,

I could simply open the window :-}

Nice set Morris!! You are on a roll with these guys. I like the second one the best for the eye contact and the nice background.

Beautiful birds Morris!
How long would you have to sit still outside for them to come round for an unobstructed shot?
Fred

Thank you Fred,

I'm shore I could get them from outside though I get the house as a backgorund.

How about a photo of your kitchen window?

If you use a rubber lens hood, you can press the hood against the window at different angles and get rid of most reflections.

Tony

Thank you Tony,

The 80-400 VR is not internal focus so the rubber lens hood would need to be very long and soft.
