These are pretty good and I appreciate that you managed to get closer. However, for your next challenge, I couldn't help but notice that this is a juvenile WTK and they are rather easy to get close to. Next time I want to see a close up shot of an adult WTK

Still, I'll give you extra credit on these for remembering Mr. Z

m's advice on the last set and give a nice little pat on the head for some fine captures

Beautiful get, Dan! I have observed a roost of them for a month now. Fairly young ones you have there. Glad they are hovering now. There are two right by my house now too. Got to shoot right from my back yard! lol [which was good cuz my neck's killin' me from the 500mm...
