I just got my new sandisk extremes (60mb/s) replacing some bad IV's and wow these things clear a raw buffer way faster definitely noticeable should have a big impact for real shooting.
My experience with the extreme CFs has been positive, too. I've only had the IIIs, but they have held up with being dropped and used in super cold temps. I can only imagine what the new sandisks are like.
I like extremes also.
