p.1 #1 · natural ISO of canon dslrs?

I've read that the 5dII's natural ISO is 200. Does anyone know what the 5D's is?

I think you mean 'Native ISO' ...AFAIK, the native ISO of all Canon Cameras is 100. Nikon takes a different approach by using ISO 200 as native (AFAIK)

Ok, this is way off topic, but what are you trying to say with ASAIK? I am pretty sure that the general use for the acronym is "As soon as I know." Perhaps you mean AFAIK ("As far as I know")?

Canon camera all have a native ISO of 100. However, some models, especially the older ones have a true sensitivity that is higher than the rated ISO. Is that what you mean?

Yes...it's bad enough I made a 'typo' but to do it twice in a row! Thanks for pointing it out

Yup. Just to stick to standards, Canon uses ISO 100 as the native ISO on all their cameras, even if the actual value is a bit off, so the native ISO of a 5D isn't even 100 but more like 125. I assume the 5D2's is about the same.

I believe the more recent Canon cameras are closer to the "real" values.
