Critique welcome though I realize some seams are visible, I will redo this for a large printed version. I also do notice the colour banding on the right of the image, this is a product of resizing and the lens flare.
Stephen, what were you doing in Oysoyoos in August? Hope you had sunscreen! Which segues me into discussing the photo: the super blown out sun sure is indicative of how this hotspot of BC feels that time of year! I enjoyed seeing this wide view of the area close to where I originated...
Too overexposed in the centre righ for me and would be better with more foreground. I think a reprocessing of raw to reduce exposure before stitching might help. Thanks for sharing. Scott
Hey Scott, thank you for the constructive feedback. My plan was to blow the sky out using a polarizer to achieve a wide range of sky texture. For me, I wanted to convey a message of brightness and heat thus the effect is intentional. The series of images I did have moderate 'dream like' processing to help also engage our audience to feel the way we felt on the trip. The image i believe has a slight surreal process to it, which hopefully comes across in the image.
