The close up shots seem most demanding of compositions. I like #1 and think you did a good job on it. Moving the yellow flower more to the right and filling that space may have been a gain on the comp IMO. Be very careful on focus and DOF to maximize the area of detail you want
#2 I like how you offset the subject from center, that is good Trimming off the small amount of green at the bottom center that is bright will help bring my eye to the fungi. A little less of the area above them will also perhaps strengthen this one a bit more
#3 Wow you must have been close on that shot! I like it and offering more DOF to include the topt of the mushroom and perhaps the stem is a thought. The translucent stem is intersting
I don't normally 'nit' this much to a first time poster but you asked so nicely Seriously, it is my way of complimenting you on a nice job! Take care and do keep them coming please

I used 34mm of extension tube on my 50mm to get that close.
Regarding a greater DOF I was handholding (well, lying down in the damp in fact) and was reluctant to push the ISO up any more. Any advice here? Is a tripod or flash the only answer to this? (I didn't bring my flash with me...)
