I really like the first one because of the back lighting on all those rocks. It gives a very 3D feel. There is too much going on in the second one for my taste. Your title does give it another element which made me look at it differently. However, without the title, I would have just seen it as a tree and a leaf. I like it when a title calls attention to something about an image that I might overlook, but that image also needs to stand for itself without the title.
