Yesterday, Washington DC held its first Tweed Ride, something that has been done in other cities. What an awesome time it was and I was really impressed with people's tweed!
Good to see folks having some fun. I wish I had been there in my Harris hat and cloak...wait...scratch that...too hot for the cloak...try my...(gotta love Tweed).

They remind me of commuters in Holland, going to work.
Cyclists in the USA are so often seen in "technical" gear with spandex, plastic, advertising logos on everything,....so it is nice to see these outfits.
