p.1 #1 · A few from todays sunshine

Another beautiful Spring day and more opportunities in the backyard...and I finally caught a hoverfly in flight woohoo!!!

A bit of patience and the little one hovered right in front of me for enough time to take a few shots.

Firstly though is this little guy, anyone have any ideas what species of spider it is? It was quite shy unfortunately, so this is all I could get:

Thanks for the comments guys. I got lucky with the hoverfly, it kept appearing at the same area, so I just sat there and waited and it returned. Didn't seemed phased by me at all.
