Great shot John - I like the mood and atmosphere in the woods here and that wishbone over the log is a really neat visual twist. Nice details and colors.
Beautiful you are constantly discovering these awesome sites and your captures just magnify the beauty of the area even more and this image is no exception. Digging the comp and soft diffused lighting with still some great water detail. I probably have passed this road time and time again and would have never stopped or thought to look. Ray - Thanks for the kind comments. I've been parking and looking at this stream since last year. Must have been 5-6 times before taking it this time. I have no idea why I decided this time. Maybe it was the flow of the water that sparked a little more interest along with the fog. Thanks for looking!
Love the misty atmo and nice comp. as well. The colors are a bit dull for my taste though, a slight boost in contrast/saturation would do it some justice (IMO).
