Paul's intemperate participation in these and other forums is the major reason i chose his products over other brands that discreetly manage their marketing. as David Hobby pointed out on his strobist blog, Buying a good bit of the AB catalog is a great strategy
for learning what suits your needs. with good resale value and the accessories discount you loose little if you find out your sensibilities are too rare and refined for AB light quality.
I assume that Einstein will substantially enhance the educational experience of the PCB school of great value light.

I must have missed something.... It seems that all of the posts by unXXXX have disappeared. Not that I'll miss them. It kind of makes some of the replies and quotes a little odd. Again, not that I care. Has there been an explanation?
But my last post also seems to be missing (unless I messed up and didn't actually post it.)
I had replied that the WLs and ABs had halogen modeling lamps and not household bulbs. Did I somehow not post this, or did it get deleted? Not that it was important anyway...
fear not, my last post was edited by Fred Miranda and the one line removed which referenced the disappeared was only a distraction that much weakened my focus

I don't get it. Another of my posts is gone too... where I explained why I didn't want to go into the reflector business. I probably had a quote from UnXXXX but it certainly wasn't inflammatory.
While I don't think what was removed were any great pearls of wisdom, I don't see why I should spend time making posts if they are just going to disappear without any explanation. I started wondering if I actually posted them.
I complained to Fred about Mr U's comments about me. I never felt compelled to do that before on any forum. My best guess is that when an admin came to delete his posts if you quoted any of his comments in your post those may have gotten yanked as well instead of edited. My apologies. I can cut and paste and email you your comments if you like so that you can repost them. Again: my apologies.

That was my guess, but quotes from him are still in some of the posts that remain.
Got a question, I don't know if I am reading this right or not, but do the Einstein's need a CSR or CSRB receiver to be triggered by the CST or do they have some sort of built in receiver?

Neither. They are going to have a plug-in module (cost around $29.95) that will allow them to be controlled by the CyberCommand and triggered.
I'm sure they will work with any of the existing CSR/CSRB/CST devices, or any other remote, for that matter.
For use with the cyber commander, you will be able to use the "+" versions or the new plug-in module that will be available for the einstein
