Today there were all the signs on the sky showing a strong potential for some magic.
As you can see the evening progress, it was quite spectacular

Wow!! Spectacular indeed, Andrew.
Wish the bottom of the 2nd didn't feel quite so cut off, but the sky certainly makes up for it.

Well, at least you had some texture, we often have just simply flat blue turning dark...
Right now we're lucky with some action, I like winters

El Matador beach, close to Malibu, just past Zuma beach.

I agree, I think the last one is the most interesting... It's always funny how
I keep shooting starting around half an hour before sunset and the best shot
is always the last one

~ 15-20 minutes past sunset

Very nice. I was gonna guess my local Blacks Beach down here in San Diego.

Looks very similar to the tide pool area. I agree on the comments about the 2nd shot, I wish it was a tad bit lower, but you've already gone over that. Yeah, I wanted to go to the beach yesterday too.
