After eating at Denny's in Dallas 2 nights in a row, somehow the menu item "Moons Over My Hammy" kind of stuck out in my mind
It was my first time shooting with Hammy and I must say I was impressed with his front to back operation. 40 viewing stations setup in less than 15 minutes, a self-contained large LCD screen with a built-in winch that can be carted anywhere, efficient upload process, nicest crew(family) you can meet...and the list goes on and on.
Here are some of my shots from the event. I teamed up with John Pinette and Manny Ramirez in 2nd gym without the disco lighting. All were at ISO6400, maybe a few ISO500. D3 with 70-200. Last few in gym 1 were with D3 and 200-400.
John,
Nice captures here,I look forward to an opertunity to shoot on "Team Hammy" at some point. And hope to get some great shots as these. My season starts a week from this Saturday. Working on football playoffs right now but am excited to do some cheer.
Nice! I am the photographer for NV Elite Cheer Team, a major local squad that enters quite a few competitions locally and nationally. Often you don't know what kind of lighting you will be walking into... sometimes you'll get lucky.. and then not!
Good job!
