p.1 #1 · Autumn C+C (First Post)

I hope I get this right, as this is my first post here, after lurking for *ages*.

I was getting deeply frustrated with weekend weather here in London, but I noticed a very brief break forecast for last Saturday. I set the alarm, went out with my soon-to-be-upgraded 400D, Sigma 10-20 and Canon 70-200, determined to get some Autumnal-themed shots. All were taken in Morden Hall Park, near Wimbledon.

I've never been great at composing landscape shots, so I'd really appreciate some c&c. Thanks!

Welcome to the world of posting PDoc
You've captured some fine colours here. #3 is my favourite from the bunch. It's a nice clean shot with an obvious focal point. #1 is the next best in my opinion - great backlighting and reflections.
You might want to post your images a little bigger, say 800 pixels wide for landscape and 600 pixels high for portrait.

I don't mind 1 and 3. 2 is a bit dull. I'd clone out what ever that black thing is on the top left croner of 3 and maybe some of those trees just randomly sticking in the side on the left. They distract from the main subject.

#1 is my favourite

Thanks for the advice, and the welcome . I've substituted the images for larger versions.

#2 was all about the colours... I couldn't grab the whole tree, as other junk was in the way.

Moose - I'll have a play with Photoshop tomorrow and try as you suggest. While I'm there, I'll try to remove the dark spot above the tree in #3. I'm not sure what it is - will have have to check my kit for dust.
