It's been a little over four years ago that I picked up my first digital camera looking for a hobby to help relieve some of the stress of business leadership, growing more difficult from a health problem.
Enjoying the west coast of Michigan this past summer, I was out for an early-morning walk when I noticed a sand castle that had partially survived the night. What caught my eye next was a spot of light, shining through the castle entrance, on to the floor of the inner court. You can see this in the first photo. Not a great image, but it planted a question in my mind. "I wonder what it would be like to be a miniature person walking through the castle entrance…what would you see?”
Reaching down, I inserted the Canon 10-22 zoom into the doorway and snapped off a few shots, not bothering to get down on my belly to look through the viewfinder. I enjoyed this “little people sand castle view” of the pier and lighthouse at Pentwater, MI.
This is my first post of any images, just discovering this website a few weeks ago. Am enjoying the fantastic images I'm seeing here, also learning from everyone. Very open to anyone's thoughts, input, suggestions, etc.
