The Virgin River was in the shade. The water was reflecting some of the colors from the sunlit hillside. This is just below The Narrows in Zion National Park.
Beautiful stones.... It sure does have a "gentle" feel to it.
I like the "compact version but I like to see that center stone in its entirety, rather than where you cropped through it. Give it a bit more room and just clone out the tip of the other stone and I think it will be great... Could even be a nice black and white with that light.
Beautiful shots. I like both a lot. I like #1, but I wish it had a little more room at the bottom. #2 is nice too, but the waterfall isn't as big. I like the color of the pool's floor in #2. Great job.
