In September 2008 my son and daughter-in-law (and their 17-year-old son) took my husband and I to Yellowstone and National Tetons. We saw wonderful things, and enjoyed it tremendously. On the last day, as we were headed to the airport in Bozeman, my grandson said, "We saw elk, bison, deer, all kinds of birds and stuff, but I really wanted to see a moose doing moosey things. The only moose we saw was that little one laying down under that tree where we couldn't really see him!)
Well, enroute, we came across a pair of moose in a meadow. As we stopped the car and climbed the hill to get photos of them, they took off at a run across the meadow. We did manage to get some pictures of them 'doing moosey things!'
It made our trip complete!
