Haven't posted in awhile so here's a few from Peru taken this last July. Two are Andean condors and one of a red legged cormie. Condors taken in Colca Canyon and the cormie from a very bouncy small boat in the Ballestas Is (sp?) Would appreciate some comments on cropping. I tried copping the condors on the rocks but the background/stalk etc is kinda cool. Should the cormie be tightened up? I like the green... Tnx
Wow! Fantastic to have these in your files, Mark.
I am partial to #1---I agree that the yucca (?) adds to the scene as well as the rising peak in the bg.---It tells a story of what is happening here. I would just crop a bit off of the top and some off the right and call it good!
Thanks for sharing!
1 I would take some off of the bottom, off of the top and a touch off of the right. That would tighten it up on the birds and keep the yucca (I think and second Bonnie on).
2 is a real cool shot
3 I would take some off of the left
All real cool birds to have under your belt, that must have been an awesome experience.
