Well I wonder why you bought a new camera, these are beautiful Socrate.
So any conclusion on the difference in your older equipment and the 7D?
The GB is so well done. Love the environment in it also.
Thanks. Linda. I did a short test with some flight shots today with the 7D. I shot about 700 pics and frankly I wasn't all that impressed with the results, especially looking the images a full res. The 7D does a great job with static subjects but somehow i can't get the same level of detail with the IF shots. I hope it is something I do wrong with the settings. So I need to do more shooting and figure that out. I didn't processed any of those IF shots yet, but I'll pick a few and see how they look after the editing.

Fantastic job on all of these oldies, glad to see all my training is paying off for your

Thanks Chad I can't never thank you enough for that. Actually the I took that GH shot during the week we were together down in Orlando. Remember? when you had to go to meetings every day and I had fun shooting all day long?

i'm always amazed at how much detail you can pull out of your images. rich in color depth and sharp as a tack. that last shot with the snake is quite the attention grabber. nice work all around. hey i'm still rocking with my 20D too! *highfive*
Wish I had "second-tier" photos like these, Socrate. The 20D Osprey just shows we don't have to use The Newest Thing on the Market to get super shots. And that's a heckuva well-exposed, detailed Skimmer. But #9 takes the prize for me. Not only is it hypnotic, but there's a hint of menace as if it may jump out of the frame...Fine "Odds and Ends", my friend.

This is another brilliant series, Socrate. If I could get my best stuff to look half as good as your "odds and ends," I will be happy as a photographer.
Some of these are so good that I had to wonder how you ever passed over them to begin with!
#'s 1,2,8 & 9 (that Green Mamba is wicket awesome) are my favorites of this excellent set.

Thanks for the nice words, Dave. There is a tendency to look at the last photos you took today, so photos you took yesterday get put aside. I probably take more photos than I can handle.
