p.1 #1 · What photo do you like?

Hello all!

Looking for some input on these photos. I shot the Le Moyne-'Cuse hoop game in the dome the other night and I am trying to decide what photo works best.

This photo was taken with a D300, White Balance at 3700K, 1600ISO, 1/800th at F/3.2.

First photo is straight out of the camera only cropped. Second photo I cooled down -14 in lightroom and added some fill light as well +10.

Please let me know which you prefer. Many thanks!

second one looks much better. I always use auto white balance for basketball and the Nikon Auto White Balance is really good so I would try that.

I personally like the colors in #2 better. I like the lows better in #2 as well... better balanced.

The second for me too. Do you apply any noise reduction in camera or are these pictures completely without noise reduction?

Normally I set the in camera NR to "Low" but I didn't for this game. These photos do not have any NR.
