So when I first edited this shot I didn't really like it, but I thought it had some potential and went back in and brought out certain areas to make it more interesting... now I think I dig it. Questions/Comments?
I decided to add a blog post with the whole image build if anyone is interested in seeing before/after.
Edit - I moved a couple of color edits to the top, these are the final four, let me know which one you like best... I kept #2 at the same spot and the last one is named #5 since that's what number it was in my first edit post

"5"
1. The car looks crookedly placed, as in, the image subject is mis-aligned. It doesn't look sufficiently level, nor is it crooked enough to be "dynamic"
2. Though I personally like the red on red as a color concept, for me there is insufficient foreground/background separation
3. If you're going to shoot the vehicle earnestly, remove the plate and associated holder
4. could you pop a remote flash or strobe inside the car, to lighting up or somehow provoke interest in the interior? Pure black-out isn't that compelling for me.
5. the white square - perhaps it's best blank, but this seems like some branding of a sort could go there?
That's about as "harsh" and "honest" as I can probably get. Overall I like this image quite a bit.
