Two images, same bride. Shot in a cafeteria against the roll down steel thing at the counter/window. Fluorescent lighting for ambient... which I sort of cranked the lowell up to get rid of the ambient.
Also with the litepanel. It is just lighting her. The lamps in the shot were like cruddy fluorescent greenish things and the litepanel was gelled with a full cto.

Wouldn't another benefit be that you're not limited to a sync speed for the shutter? This would allow you to use large apertures such as f/1.4 without much issues or needing ND filters- no?
That's only an issue when balancing the strong sun isn't it? I doubt they're bright enough to have any impact whatsoever in f/13 sunlight!
litepanel in daylight setting... Subject is in openshade. Of course, the light is literally like 3 feet from his face and retouched out. It was all I had available at the time.
I love the Lowel ID light and prefer the look of Fresnel to LED. A friend of mine got the LED Lightpanel - I didn't really like it. The following are all pics from this past Spring - all having the Lowel as primary light. A big +1 here for the Lowel.
