You and bears sure harmonize Shelley Something tells me that #2 might have been a little scary at first, that look doesn't seem comforting to me! You always seem to capture a great emotion in their eyes, nice work and I enjoyed them all as usual
The landscape is stunning and a treat all its own, nice shot and what a beautiful sight to see!

4,5,7,8 are my favs but the top prize goes to that landscape what a shot!
Thanks kindly Nello. As long as the bears love me from a distance

Yes, quite a few people would, I think. Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed looking through them and the final shot, the sunrise, was a really nice scene to come upon!

Shelley -
Shots #4 and #13 were my favorites of the bunch. Being that close to them would probably have made me very nervous.

Thanks Ken...I am much less nervous around bears than I was a few years ago, and I have to remind myself that they are still wild animals and unpredictable.

Wow what great shots. I hope you had a very long lens for those bear shots!
What magnificent beasts they are! And you've captured them very well. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks kindly for the comment.
I love bears, they remind me of big furry dogs and i always want to go scratch them behind the ears when I see them but I know that would be a bad idea
I agree scratching them behind the ears may not be the best idea, but I sometimes feel the same way... some of these bears just seem like your typical teddy bear.
Great as always Shelley. The cub in #5 is terrific and I really like the sunrise shot. I know right where you took that one. Keep em' coming, reminds me of vacation
Well, thanks for sharing these Shelley... what a thoroughly enjoyable series.
Great exposure control with wonderful color and detail, good PP too.
4-8 and 13 are my favorites, and I love the sunrise image.
Very well done.
