Lol, yeah all of Frank Gherys'(sp) buildings n designs looks like he has had too much pilsner. I wonder if he's just being different for the sake of being different.
sbeme, doh u know I hadn't noticed the triangle above. That building was a tourist photographer's haven heh. I had to wait till it cleared up and cars to go by to get a clean shot. I think I must of taken 20-30 shots.
One of my favorite architects. I picked up a DVD with Sidney Pollack filming and interviewing him in the bargain bin at the local closeout store of all places. Definitely worth watching..
@nle57: If you want to eliminate the people and traffic use a tripod and loooong shutter speeds to make them disappear as if by magic. Might have to use neutral density filters to get a long enough exposure, but definitely cleans up the clutter from around something like this building.
hey Albert, thanks, thats a great tip! Though during traveling, I just had a dinky little tripod on hand, but I'll definitely use that next time I'm shooting in LA.
