Hawaii's catching some nice waves from a Typhoon that has gone extratropical. That means the water so warm from El Nino that the typhoons and Hurracaines are not breaking up where they usually do, but, are going more North. To me that means work. Triple Crown of Surfing is getting ready to start up, as soon as this weekend at Sunset Beach, Guy Hagi the news guy/surfer is predicting 12 foot waves....
Shot today with Dave Croxford..you know the Editor out here that people here were calling names because of a Canon Petition. Pretty rude stuff for FM'ers...so anyway I'm having a hard time relating to the some of the more vocal and RUDE and clueless folks here and plan to make this my last post for awhile.....
#1 Bevo an Australian Ripper
#2 Sunny Gracia looking real fit, will be a dark horse at the Pipe Masters
#3 Keala Kenaly from "Blue Crush" and "John from Cincinatee"
Braddah Mike! Killer as always! You always come through wit da wahine!
I didn't see you're text but was looking closely at the photo (especially #1) and I thought, "man that looks like Sunny Garcia!" Does Bu'la'ia still have Sunny's undawea?

Mike, you'd simply be cutting off your nose to spite your own face, and the faces of the guys on here who look at your images. Remember, it's just the internet and should not EVER be confused with real life
Mike, anything of Kahea Hart? Classmate of mine from Punahou. Saw a photo on his facebook from yesterday at Backdoor by a Bruno Lemos. Apparently he's sporting a new Mohawk!
I have been on the FM board long enough to know that not everyone is going to have the same opinions. Others that have differing opinions can be a little dramatic, threatening and sometimes flat-out rude. Just know that while there are those that are not going to agree with your immediate post, that doesn’t mean that they don’t value your overall contribution.
I like surf photography and I don’t think we see enough of it on FM. The quality that you produce is awesome, and not many have the locations and conditions you have to capture the image. Stick around Fred and blow off the BS!
As usual Mike your work is always beautiul. As a former darkroom tech from Surfing Magazine (mid-80's...when all we used was K-64 and Velvia) I always appreciate your style.
I know how it feels not only to have people act juvenile, but hurtful in this Forum. There's no place for stuff like that, but it happens. I just want to say I think you do more harm then good by leaving. It leaves fewer people who respect our trade to put in valualbe input (like yourself). You not only give us images to not only admire, but you raise the level of the game.
