Sorry to hear you think the Conwingo Dam is as you say a STEENKIN PLACE for eagles. The full migration there is still way too early as the waters up north are still not frozen. However, that's OK and more important the photo you posted looks like an Immature with a satellite transmitter antenna on its back. Hard for me to tell so could you take a good look at any other photos you may have as if it has a transmitter it most surely is banded. Perhaps you have a photo with a band showing that could be read. Thanks

Lou...I have contacted him and this is the only image of the juvi with the satellite transmitter. I have also contacted a local wildlife biologist and the CCB to get some information on this Eagle with a transmitter. Now that I know the time and location it was photographed all they have to do is pull up a map in that area and they will know what Eagle it is that was photographed.
I was hoping it was the 2009 Eaglet from the Norfolk, VA nest I follow with the transmitter but she has not left the Northern Neck of VA since July/August of this year.
