I don't know which is correct, $3850 is where I imagined this camera would be in 8-12 months, But not today. I'd buy it but I just spent 10 grand on another vending machine and site.

Great Images! Nice work! Everyone notices your great price, but not those spectacular shots. And if I could, I'd buy this body, but the time isn't right just yet.

From $7999 dropped to $3900! It's such a painful loss for 1DsMK3 owners like me. The 5DMKII has really killed the market of 1DsMK3. Canon hurts its loyal customers. Not nice!

Canon is not hurting any of it's customers. With a body like 1ds3, you should be making more than enough money to cover the depreciation. It's on the forums, and I have done the tests and 1ds3 images are simply nicer than 5d2's...and that's before we even talk about AF!
