I've has mine for a while (converted with Jim's kit) but never wanted to shave the back to use it on my 1ds3. I recently bought a 5d2 with a shaved mirror though and started using it...
ok, all these shots are nice, but for people like myself that aren't aware of what's needed, anyone has a link to what I need to buy to make it work with a 5D? it would be greatly appreciate it. thanks.
You will need more than an adapter to make this work on a unmodified 5D. It will need to be convertered to a EOS mount. If you are like me, you will probably want someone else to do the work. Jim Buchanan & Pete Ganzel, perform this service on a regular basis.
Even after conversion, you may still not be able to reach infinity or clear the mirror on your 5D. I'm going to use Jim to try to see this will work on my 5D. It may not. http://www.jimbuchananspace.com/Camera_Services.html
