p.1 #1 · Help Finding a Repair Shop in New England?

Hey everyone,

My father's uncle (not sure what that relationship is actually called) gave me a really cool Rollei TLR when he was cleaning up his old photography stuff. I tried using it but realized it needed quite a bit of work. The shutter speed wasn't right, the winding mechanism was stuck (tore a roll of film during winding), etc etc. I was wondering if any of y'all knew of a good place in New England (preferably Mass, Rhode Island, or Connecticut) where I could get the thing repaired?

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks!

I've used this shop twice, via USPS, and received great (and quick) service:

Thanks for the help!

Do they do Rollei TLR's? I don't see any information on that kind of camera on their website. Guess I could send them an email too (doy on my part).

Any other suggestions?

Folks in photo.net speak well about rolleirepairs.com.

Others there recommend Paul Ebel Lens Services 420 21st Street North Suite #2 PO Box 141 Menomonie WI 54751 Tel. (651) 335-8759 email [email protected]

NOTE: I do not have personal experience with either.
