Hello all, I had posted this elsewhere but, have not received any feedback. Good or bad I appreciate any input you might have.
Thanks, Dan.

I wish I could see all of the words on the bottom few steps.

Besides that, nice. Good tones.

There's something a bit mottled and perhaps foggy about the sky. It could benefit from being darker. Also, if the upper foliage was darker it might add to the visual contrast and improve the image.

J, mostly he left the joy out of it. "... But this only adds to the joy and glory of the climb."

I would love to see the all of the words, other than it is a fabulous shot and one worth making into a poster.

It's like cutting the feet off your subject when taking a portrait. I know their are fee there, but you just don't cut them off like that.

Oh, I understood your comment. My reply was simply to supply what was omitted for any who were curious.

Many years ago I made my living as a portrait photographer and I know there are some subjects want all their bits in every photo. Others are happier with much tighter framing. Personally, I don't subscribe to the school that demands to see all the fingers and toes. I don't mind cutting off feet or a hand here and there in people photos. Often an image can be stronger for it. Without seeing the full original scene, we can't know whether seeing all the inscription would also require a weaker composition.
