I recommend the Leica Boutique at CamTec Photo in Montreal: https://www.leicaboutique.com/ - that's where I bought mine for a $100+ saving over CameraQuest. The Ultron in Nikon F-mount is currently listed at $418 CA, and their price for the EF-M mount will be posted as soon as they get some.

As soon as the price in known, I'll calculate UK price V US price + VAT & customs duty and see where the smart buy is.
I know £400 is not an outrageous price but I needed to vent about the current UK/US price differences, man it stings sometimes.
Maybe I'll ebay a couple of rarely used alts to get this damn fine looking pancake.

I'd really love to get the 40/2.0 in EF mount, but the only price i can find in the UK is £43.48 deposit + £340. With VAT that's £441.
Thats equivalent to $736
That seems a lot when US price is expected to be $400 or less.

You good and well know that everything in the UK costs more.
Now I`ve got the ultron sorted with a grip and a decent happypage adapter V5 + a Nikon HN-3 metal hood I love it.
Now with regards the EF version that`s coming, you will get open aperture metering? but correct me if I`m wrong but (unless there is any way to cheat the micro adjust in the camera which I doubt because of the focal length) you won`t get the micro adjust that I get with the V5 adapter. Stop down metering can be a pain at times but I`m just so used to it now having only using stop down metering with my Contax and Leica lenses that I feel that I might loose the MF feeling without it

If it is anything like the EF mount CV 125/2.5, it will perform just like a Canon lens with the AF turned off. I am pretty sure the micro adjust will work too, although I haven't bothered to try... I can check though if it helps.
I have the 40f2 for eos in my hands. I rented it to try it. I am totally sold. AF confirm works well if you need dead on focus use live view. I have been using it on my 5D2. I have been sort of trying to sell my 85L II I think I am going to sell it and get both the 40 and 20. I have no need for a M43 system the 5D2 handles so much better and the portability w/o the large lens is surprising.
Which is a better prime lens? 40/2 or 58/1.4?
40/2 seems more popular? but less better reviewed? does its popularity come from its pancake size?
58/1.4 seems to appear nowhere.
58/1.4 is not out in Canon mount yet. Many have used the Nikon version and adapted it to EF mount. I haven't tried it myself, but hope to. I have the 40/2 in Canon mount, and I quite like it.
I was extremely disappointed with the 20mm F 3.5 CV performance-I had vignetting @ F8, and there was nothing great about any of the images: http://anscochrome.zenfolio.com/p885164714
I decided to pass on that 600 yankee dollar lens, and ended up with an 8mm Rokinon instead. Now that puppy holds some promise
