The old timers will most likely remember that name.
This weekend, going through my dad's old camera gear, we found a Minox A. Talk about James Bond cool! As far as we could tell the camera was in mint condition and had a few accessories along with it (flash add-on, tripod, remote shutter release).
Perhaps the most amusing aspect of the find was that the flash took B cell batteries

I think the biggest laugh out of the whole deal was the manuals example section, which included a shot of Amanita mushrooms (aka Fly Agaric... "Magic Mushrooms"). Oh man... the 60's were awesome, weren't they? Too bad i was brought into existence at the end of the 70s.
Now... the real question - Does anyone make film for the Minox A anymore?
I owned a Minox EL in the mid 70's it was a tiny full frame 35mm, the lens folded into the body, very, very sharp lens. Don't know about film for your A do a google search.
Yes, you can still get Minox film and processing. Search the web. I, too, have a couple of old Minox cameras. I bought them in the sixties - and used them, too.
