How to pick the right anchor text -

Just ask yourself - What does a bride type into the search field when they are looking for YOU.

Wedding Photographer - not a good choice since it takes a lot of SEO work to get to page one.

Your CIty Wedding Photographer - Best since you're not competing with the rest of the world but just the togs in your city. Easier to get to page one with proper SEO work on your blog plus linking.

Alternatives:
Wedding Photographer Your City
Wedding photographers Your city
Your city Wedding photographers

the "s" make a difference. I believe that there are more searches for words without "S" on it.
